Teamsters General Secretary-Treasurer Fred Zuckerman concluded his trip to Arizona with a visit to Local 104’s Teamster Appreciation Day. With Karla Schumann, Secretary-Treasurer of Local 104, he talked with members about the work ahead to continue growing the strength of the Teamsters Union. During the event, Zuckerman proudly swore in Schumann to serve on the Teamsters General Executive Board as an International Western Region Vice President.



“Over the last few days, I’ve spent practically every waking moment with members of Local 104. And I have seen nothing but courage and commitment from every single one of you,” Zuckerman said. “Your effort and involvement will be key to us continuing to seize big opportunities in the years ahead. Thank you for doing your part.”
