California Sysco Teamsters are strike-ready if the company fails to reach a fair agreement that prioritizes worker safety, wages, and benefits. Over 400 drivers and warehouse workers represented by Teamsters Local 853 have unanimously voted to authorize a strike if no deal is reached by October 31.



They’re not alone. More than 1,000 other Sysco Teamsters in Portland, Sacramento, and Reno also face expired or soon-to-expire contracts. The message to Sysco is clear: it’s time to respect the workers who keep this company running — or face a major strike across the West Coast.
