Sysco Teamsters in San Francisco held a practice picket to demand that the company return to the bargaining table with a fair contract offer. Last week, more than 400 members of Teamsters Local 853 voted unanimously to authorize a strike if an agreement is not reached before the October 31 deadline.



Workers are demanding that Sysco negotiate a contract that delivers competitive wage increases, strong benefits, and improved working conditions that match or exceed the standards already won by Teamsters at other major food service providers in the Bay Area.
