To conclude the 2025 Political Coordinators Meeting, hundreds of Teamsters lobbied Congress on our key legislative priorities like the Warehouse Worker Protection Act, Federal Motion Picture Tax Incentive and the Faster Labor Contracts Act, which is a simple and straightforward bill with broad bipartisan support in the House and Senate that will ensure that workers who vote to unionize secure first contracts, too.



In the afternoon, Teamsters legislative staff highlighted recent legislative successes like New Jersey banning captive audience meetings last week and the effectiveness of DRIVE – the Teamsters’ political action committee. To close out the Political Coordinators Meeting, Teamsters heard from Rep. Marie Gluesenkamp Perez (D-WA), U.S. Senator Bernie Moreno (R-OH), and Rep. Chris Deluzio (D-PA) on how we can work together to advance commonsense legislation that’s most critical to our 1.3 million members.
