Members of Teamsters Local 320 at the University of Minnesota were forced to strike today at the Austin, Crookston, Duluth, Grand Rapids, Morris, and Waseca campuses after their employer refused to offer a fair contract.

The University of Minnesota has failed to meet the needs of the 1,400 Teamsters it depends on, who work in nearly every department across the academic system. Teamsters are prepared to fight for the respect, decency, wages, and benefits they have earned.
