Victor Mineros, Director of the Teamsters Solid Waste and Recycling Division, joined striking Republic Services Teamsters on picket lines in Cumming, Ga., and around the Boston area this week. Despite raking in $16 billion last year off their hard work, Republic refuses to offer them fair contracts. Teamsters at Republic Services will continue to escalate their fight until they get the contracts they are owed.



“Republic Services would be nothing without the hardworking Teamsters who have been forced to strike for over one month now,” Mineros said. “It’s time for Republic to quit playing games, get back to the bargaining table, and give our members the fair contracts they deserve.”
