Teamsters General Secretary-Treasurer Fred Zuckerman spent time with rank-and-file members and their families on Saturday for Teamsters Local 743's All-Member Picnic in Chicago. The local's President Debra Simmons-Peterson and representatives host the annual affair to strengthen community engagement and celebrate the solidarity and labor of all Teamsters.

Anthony Rosa, Director of the Teamsters Human Rights and Diversity Commission, attended the event alongside Zuckerman to bring greater awareness to the Teamsters Disaster Relief Fund and champion the diversity and talent of hardworking Teamsters across the Chicago area.

"It doesn't get much better than spending quality time with your fellow Teamsters in the neighborhoods where we live, work, and raise our families," Zuckerman said. "The International Union honors and applauds Teamsters Local 743 for its rich history within our organization and for always making sure that rank-and-file members come first in all that we do."
