DHL Drivers Demand Union Recognition with Teamsters

Drivers at CGB Express, a third-party contractor for DHL Express in Fort Myers, Fla., are demanding union recognition with Teamsters Local 79. The group of 18 workers are organizing to secure higher wages, stronger benefits, and better working conditions.



The Teamsters represent more than 10,000 DHL workers nationwide across the company and its subsidiaries. These workers are covered under the DHL Teamsters National Master Agreement, which is set to expire next year.
