Teamsters General President Sean M. O’Brien and General Secretary-Treasurer Fred Zuckerman met with UPS members at the airport outside Detroit, Mich., this evening. They spoke with rank-and-filers about contract enforcement efforts and the company’s illegal buyout proposal for drivers.



“UPS is trying to deceive our members and attempting to buy our jobs for a pittance in direct violation of our contract.” O’Brien said. “We will not stand by as UPS flagrantly tries to violate our strong, historic agreement. All full-time UPS Teamsters should say NO to UPS’s scam and Carol Tomé’s greed."
