Kroger Teamsters Practice Picket in GA for a First Contract

CDL drivers at Kroger’s Forest Park fulfillment center in Georgia, represented by Teamsters Local 528, held practice pickets to demand a fair and timely first contract.



The workers were joined on the line by community allies, labor leaders, clergy, and elected officials who stood in solidarity with the drivers in their fight for respect and a strong Teamsters agreement.



Over 30 drivers at the facility voted overwhelmingly to join the Teamsters last year. Since then, Kroger has dragged its feet at the bargaining table, attempting to delay progress and deny workers the contract they’ve earned.
