    Republic teamsters strike expands

    REPUBLIC TEAMSTERS STRIKE EXPANDS



    The Teamsters have expanded our strike at Republic Services to Ottawa, Ill.



    Workers represented by Teamsters Local 179 were forced to the picket line on Tuesday, affecting trash pickups throughout the area.



    Nearly 500 Republic Teamsters are now on strike. Hundreds more could launch strikes of their own at any moment and primary picket line extensions may result in work stoppages for thousands of workers nationwide.



    Republic Teamsters won’t back down until they get the deals they deserve!
