Teamsters at Republic Services Strike for Fair Contract in Boston

450 Republic Services sanitation workers in the Boston area represented by Teamsters Local 25 were forced on strike this morning after the multibillion-dollar waste corporation refused to give workers a fair deal.



Teamsters across the country are having similar contract disputes with Republic Services, and they could launch strikes of their own at any moment, disrupting waste collections in other major cities.
