Today, Teamsters across Jacksonville came out to the picket lines to stand in solidarity with their brothers and sisters on strike at Breakthru Beverage. Workers have been outside of the company's facility 24 hours a day, seven days a week to protest the employer’s unfair labor practices.

“This is a classic case of corporate bullying,” said Phil Valera, a Local 947 member and Breakthru driver. “Breakthru doesn’t want to reward employees in Florida with the benefits, retirement security, and wages we’ve rightfully earned. The time for drivers to stand strong against this company and its greed is now. We deserve better. We deserve a fair contract.”
