Teamsters at Breakthru Beverage are bargaining this week in Tampa, Fla., demanding better health care, pension benefits, and significant wage increases. The bargaining committee represents more than 160 drivers at five different locations statewide.

"The Teamsters represent thousands of workers at this company across the country, and in Florida we're asking for the same rights and benefits as our other members at Breakthru," said Jeff Padellaro, Director of the Teamsters Brewery, Bakery, and Soft Drink Conference. "We're willing to do whatever it takes to get a good contract in this state, and Breakthru needs to quickly realize we’re committed to winning the fight.

Breakthru Beverage Teamsters are expected to take strike authorization votes next week.
