Teamsters General President Sean M. O’Brien and Secretary-Treasurer Fred Zuckerman hit the ground running early this morning in Pittsburgh, visiting rank-and-file Teamsters across seven worksites.

They started the day before dawn walking the belts with UPS Teamsters of Local 249 in Moon Township, Pa., and met with Alco Teamsters handling aircraft maintenance at the Pittsburgh International Airport.

O’Brien and Zuckerman spoke with UPS Teamsters at two additional facilities across Pittsburgh during the morning sort.

"The Teamsters made UPS deliver monumental wage increases and stronger protections for all members. But we must continue to hold them accountable and enforce this strong agreement. From the installation of air conditioning to workplace safety and overtime protections, UPS needs to do right by the rank-and-file, or the company will pay the price," O'Brien said.
