Fleet Transport Carhaulers in Ohio Join Teamsters

A group of carhaulers in Avon Lake, Ohio, employed by Fleet Transport Corporation has unionized with Teamsters Local 964.

This is the second unit of former Jack Cooper carhaulers who have rejoined the Teamsters Union in the last week alone, following workers at Squirrelly LLC in Stone Mountain, Ga., who joined Teamsters Local 89.

Because of the hard work of the Teamsters Carhaul Division, Fleet Transport Corporation voluntarily recognized these workers as Teamsters and signed onto the National Master Automobile Transports Agreement (NMATA).
