Last week, Central Region Chairs for the Teamsters Package Division and the UPS-IBT Joint Area Committee Grievance Panel held a training seminar in Arlington, Va. Sessions focused on important topics including case presentation, arbitration readiness, and information requests.
“Education and preparation win cases,” said Dennis Roberts, Central Region Package Director. “We are working to ensure our agents—whether they started decades ago or just yesterday—are equipped with the tools they need to win against UPS at panels and arbitration.”
“Events like these, which allow our agents to share best practices they’ve learned on the job, are key to our success,” said James DeWeese, Assistant Central Region Package Director. “Thanks to the hard work of the Teamsters Training and Grants Department, our Central Region agents are better positioned than ever to go up against UPS.”
