Teamsters from across North America gathered in Las Vegas today for the final day of the Teamsters Warehouse Division Conference. Attendees tackled critical issues impacting workers, including the threat posed by consolidation in the warehouse industry, the role of member data and analysis in strategic communications, and the looming threat of automation within the warehouse industry.
“Education and training are essential pillars of what we do as Teamsters,” said Tom Erickson, Director of the Teamsters Warehouse Division. “Fighting back against corrupt and greedy employers in the warehouse industry requires coordination, teamwork, and unity. Bringing everyone together at conferences like this allows us to strategize, share knowledge, and build the solidarity we need to take on these challenges.”
