Are We Really Getting What We Deserve?
So here we are again—another round of bargaining, another set of tentative agreements. Sure, we’ve seen some movement—better wages, a few new benefits—but let’s not kid ourselves: is this really what we’ve been fighting for?
These deals aren’t game-changers. They’re just a band-aid slapped on much bigger issues that never seem to get addressed. All the while, railroads are raking in profits, and we’re expected to feel grateful for a few crumbs? These agreements might keep the trains moving, but are they building a better future for us—or just kicking the can down the track?
What do you think? Is this real progress, or are we being asked to settle for less—again? This is your livelihood, your future. Does this feel like a win to you, or is it time we start demanding the respect and fairness we deserve?
Drop your thoughts below, and let’s get the conversation started.
