Amazon Teamsters from Palmdale have inspired a worker movement to unionize Amazon.
Last year, 84 Amazon workers from Palmdale became the first group of Amazon delivery drivers in the country to organize a union and unionized with the Teamsters.
A worker movement began shortly after and over 50 Amazon warehouses across 10 states extended picket lines in solidarity with the Amazon Teamsters from Palmdale.
Because of the courageous organizing of these Amazon Teamster drivers, the trillion-dollar company now has a legal duty to recognize and bargain with the Teamsters Union.
