Early this morning, General President Sean M. O’Brien visited the UPS hub in Tampa to talk with Teamsters Local 79 members about the historic gains in the National Master Agreement and the importance of contract enforcement.
As he walked the belts, O’Brien reminded rank-and-file UPSers about the need to learn the contract and get engaged in order to hold the company accountable to all of the terms of the National Master Agreement.
“Making sure UPS lives up their end of the deal requires a member-driven enforcement campaign to police the agreement and hold UPS accountable for any contract violations. We must protect Teamsters jobs at all costs," O'Brien said.
O’Brien was joined by Local 79 President Brian Rothman.
