Teamsters General Secretary-Treasurer Fred Zuckerman continued his tour of central and eastern states yesterday with a stop in North Carolina to meet with Local 391 members at the UPS facility in Greensboro. As Zuckerman and General President Sean M. O’Brien traverse the country for member rallies, practice pickets, and worksite visits, they are galvanizing strike-ready UPS Teamsters everywhere.
"Our members throughout the country are engaged, informed, mobilized, and ready to take any action that is necessary to support our National Negotiating Committee," Zuckerman said. "Unless we have an agreement on July 31 that secures the pay, dignity, and respect our members deserve, 340,000 Teamsters will take it to the streets to remind UPS who actually runs this company."
