IS UPS READY TO GET SERIOUS?
It’s July 20, which means UPS has 11 days to take seriously the needs of 340,000 Teamsters or face putting itself on strike. As the National Negotiating Committee prepares to meet with the company to resume negotiations next week, rank-and-file UPSers are not standing around to see if Big Brown will do right by working families at the bargaining table. Practice picking actions sweeping the country will continue and escalate.
The Teamsters take nothing for granted when taking on Corporate America. Just as UPS’s record profits are the product of Teamsters labor, all benefits and conditions we have on the job are the product of Teamster struggle. All UPS Teamsters deserve more!
