Members of the Jackson County Sheriff’s Employees Association (JCSEA) voted by an overwhelming 99 percent to join Teamsters Local 223.



“These workers serve Jackson County every day. They deserve fair pay, good benefits, and respect on the job,” said Austin DePaolo, Secretary-Treasurer of Local 223. “They made this choice together. Our job now is to stand with them, listen to their concerns, and turn that strong vote into action. We welcome JCSEA to Local 223 and look forward to the work ahead.”



Now, Local 223 will work to protect these members’ rights and secure them a strong Teamsters contract.
