Teamsters General President Sean M. O’Brien is speaking today with union leaders and rank-and-file members of the Ohio Conference of Teamsters, which represents 50,000 workers across the state. Joined by Patrick Darrow, President of the Ohio Conference and of Local 348, they discussed ongoing efforts to expand organizing, bargaining and enforcing strong contracts, and advancing bipartisan pro-worker bills like the Faster Labor Contracts Act.



“Ohio Teamsters have put it all on the line time and again to demand and command better from Corporate America. Your successes have given you credibility,” O’Brien said. “That credibility is how we’ve gotten six Republicans and five Democrats from Ohio’s congressional delegation to support the FLCA. And our momentum will only grow as we send more champions of labor like Sherrod Brown to serve in Washington. Make no mistake: the Teamsters are just getting started.”
