DON'T CHEETAH TEAMSTERS OUT OF A FAIR CONTRACT



More than 100 members of Teamsters Local 727 launched an unfair labor practice strike Monday morning against the Chicago Zoological Society. These Teamsters work at the Brookfield Zoo Chicago caring for animals, assisting visitors, and maintaining the zoo.



Zoo management offered Teamsters a last, best, and final offer that would have removed union health care — offering no alternative coverage — which members rejected.



Teamsters at Brookfield Zoo will remain on the picket line until the zoo presents the fair contract workers deserve.
