Freight drivers at Pozzi Brothers Transportation in Kent, Wash., represented by Teamsters Local 174 have voted by a nine-to-one margin to ratify a new contract. The group of 34 workers secured substantial increases to pay and improved benefits over the life of the new five-year agreement.



“I’m a father, and this contract will go a long way toward helping me provide for my daughter,” said Nick Prevette a driver and steward for Local 174. “By sticking together, we were able to get a strong agreement that makes sure we’re treated and compensated fairly.”
