Today, General President Sean M. O’Brien welcomed Massachusetts Gov. Maura Healey to Teamsters headquarters in Washington, D.C., recognizing the Democratic leader for her longstanding support of rank-and-file Teamsters. Bringing together International staff, active members, and other union leaders — including International Association of Fire Fighters General President Edward A. Kelly — O'Brien and Gov. Healey spoke on their shared mission to grow good union jobs and protect American workers.



"Gov. Healey knows how to deliver real results for working people," O'Brien said. "She has a long history of standing with Teamsters across Massachusetts, taking on tough fights, and backing union workers when it matters most. The Teamsters will always have her back."
