After meeting with UPS Teamsters in Portland, Maine, Teamsters General President Sean M. O’Brien visited firefighters and EMS workers at the Westbrook Fire Department represented by Teamsters Local 340. Joined by Brett Miller, President of Local 340, O’Brien spoke with members about the critical work they preform to keep communities safe. Firefighters and EMS workers in Westbrook have been Teamsters since the 1980s.



“During emergencies, our members put their lives on the line every single day for our communities,” O’Brien said. “The Teamsters represent workers across a wide range of industries, including emergency services. We are grateful for their sacrifice, professionalism, and the long hours they work to ensure our communities remain safe.”
