Today, the Teamsters First Student National Negotiating Committee is in Washington, D.C., preparing to negotiate a new master agreement. Rank-and-file members and local union representatives from across the country began planning and discussing priorities before the current contract expires on March 31, 2026, and before negotiations officially kick off on January 14. The group is committed to fighting for an agreement that protects Teamsters and raises standards across the bus industry.



The National Master First Student Agreement (NMFSA) — the largest collective bargaining agreement in the private school bus industry — protects more than 18,000 bus drivers, monitors, and mechanics nationwide.
