A group of 35 drivers, service technicians, and merchandizers at Northeast Beverage Corporation in Orange, Conn., overwhelmingly voted to join Teamsters Local 443. The workers voted for strong union representation to secure increased pay, better benefits, and safer working conditions.



“We take our jobs seriously and, knowing the dangers of this type of work, we want a fair wage,” said Kealin Brown, a member of Local 443 and driver at Northeast Beverage Corporation. “We hold our heads high, because now we are Teamsters. We look forward to fighting for a contract we deserve.”
