    A group of 43 Green for Life (GFL) workers in Houston has joined Teamsters Local 988. The drivers and general laborers voted for strong union representation so they can secure a Teamsters contract with industry-leading wages, better benefits, and improved working conditions.



    “After every minute of hard work and every drop of sweat we put into this campaign, it feels good that we can finally call ourselves Teamsters,” said Erick Ruiz, a GFL worker and new member of Local 988. “I am thankful to God for making this victory possible.”
