This afternoon during the closing session of the 2025 Teamsters Women’s Conference, more than 1,500 attendees heard panels from rank-and-file Teamsters women at UPS fighting nationwide to enforce and utilize our contractually guaranteed heat protections, Teamsters women at the forefront of historic public sector organizing and contract campaigns, and Teamsters women who’ve served on national bargaining committees for recently won record contracts.



Attendees also participated in breakout sessions to strengthen their skills with negotiating and organizing tactics, digital communications, building workplace militancy, stewards programs, and more.



Before the conference wrapped up, Teamsters Women’s Conference Director Ashley Alvarado honored Lenna Phenix, President of the Teamsters Ontario Women's Caucus, with the Barbara Liddy Teamster Woman Activist Award.



With the 2025 Women's Conference complete, more than 1,500 Teamsters sisters and brothers will travel back to their local unions armed with information and tools to better serve their membership.
