Teamsters General President Sean M. O’Brien and General Secretary-Treasurer Fred Zuckerman joined Local 455 in Denver on Saturday to honor the hard work of Teamsters stewards across Colorado.



“Our union is only as strong as the people willing to lead on the shop floor — and stewards are the backbone of this union,” O’Brien said. “You’re the ones standing up to greedy employers, enforcing our contracts, and protecting the rights of your fellow rank-and-file members. Your dedication ensures that Teamsters never back down, never settle for less, and never stop fighting for what’s right. Everything we do must keep our rank-and-file members informed and ready for action.”



Local 455 Secretary-Treasurer Dean Modecker led the seminar, providing stewards with the tools and resources to fight for stronger contracts and hold employers accountable. In Denver and across the state of Colorado, Local 455 proudly represents more than 10,000 members across diverse industries.
