SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA REPUBLIC TEAMSTERS AUTHORIZE STRIKE



Republic Services Teamsters represented by Local 396 have voted overwhelmingly to authorize a strike.



This comes on the third day of a strike launched by Local 25 in the Boston area and Local 179 in Ottawa, Ill., that is disrupting service for hundreds of thousands of people.



Southern California Teamsters are now prepared to join their brothers and sisters on the picket line at any moment. They will not back down until they get a fair contract once and for all!
