???? TEAMSTERS HAVE BEEF WITH TYSON FOODS ????



Teamsters Local 577 is currently in bargaining with Tyson Foods, the largest meat company in the United States. Over 3,000 workers at the Amarillo, Texas, slaughterhouse and meat processing facility are demanding higher wages, more paid time off, improved benefits, and protection against excessive overtime.



Instead of giving workers a fair contract, Tyson — a company that reported over $50 billion in revenue last year — has been dragging its feet at the bargaining table. Teamsters at Tyson Foods are voting next week to authorize a strike.
