Photos from Teamsters's post

More than 1,500 nurses at UnityPoint Health in Iowa have been fighting tirelessly for months to join Teamsters Local 90. Instead of respecting their right to organize, their employer has spent more than $2 million on union busters and pulled nurses from patients’ bedsides to attend captive audience meetings.

These nurses are some of the latest health care workers seeking to organize with the Teamsters Union. On the heels of the pandemic, our union has seen health care workers across the nation rise up against greedy employers and demand their worth by unionizing with the Teamsters. Once praised as heroes, health care workers — like UnityPoint Health nurses — are sick and tired of lip service from management.

Nurses and other health care professionals know that joining North America’s strongest union is the best way to secure what they deserve.
