UNITED AIRLINES TEAMSTERS SHOW TEAMSTERS PRIDE ON SOLIDARITY DAY
United Airlines Teamsters nationwide came to work today expressing their Teamster Pride as negotiations continue with the carrier. After four months of hard-fought bargaining with the company, United Airlines technicians are closer than ever before to an industry-leading contract. The Teamsters are fighting for increased pay, faster wage progression, and more affordable health care for over 10,000 United Airlines technicians across the country.
“We are starting to pick up speed at the bargaining table, but we can only keep the momentum going by making our voices heard and reminding United of our value,” said Ryan Pachasa, a technician from Local 986 at Portland International Airport and member of the United Airlines Teamsters National Negotiating Committee. “When the Teamsters stand together, there is nothing that can stop us. We are proud to be Teamsters and prepared to fight for the contract we deserve.”
After the Teamsters reached pivotal agreements last week in Denver, negotiations will continue next month in San Francisco with United Airlines Teamsters ready to win the contract they have earned!
