More than 150 drivers at UNFI’s York Distribution Center have voted to join Teamsters Local 776. The UNFI drivers unionized with the Teamsters to secure fair pay, improved health care, and better working conditions.
Since 2022, nearly 2,500 UNFI workers have become Teamsters. There are more than 5,000 Teamsters across the company today. With the latest vote, all UNFI drivers in Pennsylvania are now Teamsters.
“By joining the Teamsters, we now have a strong voice on the job and can move forward together to address the issues that matter most,” said Justin Goodling, a UNFI driver and a new member of Local 776. “I’m proud we came together to organize and became part of the Teamsters Union. We look forward to securing a brighter future at the negotiating table.”
