WITH TENTATIVE AGREEMENT, TEAMSTERS SECURE HIGHER STANDARDS AT ANHEUSER-BUSCH
Rank-and-file Teamsters are prepared to ratify a strong new 5-year agreement with Anheuser-Busch at their breweries nationwide next week. With average 23% hourly wage increases, real job protections, higher pension contributions, and equal health care benefits for all, union members across the brewing industry are reminded of the collective power workers have to hold employers accountable and leverage their labor.
“Never letting up on the employer, being willing and ready to withhold your labor to get what you’ve earned, and having the backs of your union sisters and brothers no matter what — this is how we will all continue to move the ball forward for working people,” said Teamsters General President Sean M. O’Brien. “Teamsters stayed in the fight to reset the bar in the brewing industry at Anheuser-Busch. Workers need improvements to nearly all aspects of their professional lives today, and gains like these are how we keep building that bridge to a better future for working families across the country.”
Anheuser-Busch Teamsters are encouraged to participate in a webinar on Sunday about the benefits and highlights of the record-setting tentative agreement.
